Graduate Student Sadegh Asgari Wins the 2016 IIE Best Student Paper Competition Award

Sadegh Asgari PhD '16 (adviser: Dr. Odeh) received the Best Student Paper Competition Award in the Construction Division at the 2016 IIE Annual Conference in Anaheim, CA. May 21-24.

The IIE Annual Conference & Expo, organized and held by the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE), is the largest conference in the field of industrial and systems engineering. The award, sponsored by ConAm Group, recognizes excellence of Sadegh Asgari's paper entitled “Simulating Construction Bidding using Agent-based Modeling.” His certificate with a $2,000 honorarium was presented at the conference honors and awards banquet on May 23, 2016.
