The Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics department held an Industry Panel on Friday, October 6, 2017 at Faculty House.  Co-sponsored by the department's American Society of Civil Engineers student chapter, the event featured representatives from AKRF; Arcadis; Hatch; Mott MacDonald; Mueser Rutledge Consulting Engineers; Plaza Construction; Shawmut Design and Construction; STV; and Thornton Tomasetti.  The panelists engaged in a lively discussion and Q&A session which addressed issues ranging from trends within the industry and the niche services provided by each company to potential career opportunities and how students can prepare for the job search.  The panel was followed by a reception in which students had the opportunity to network with the industry representatives.

The CEEM department extends its appreciation to the aforementioned companies for their participation in this event.
