Professor Emeritus Rene Testa elected President of Columbia Engineering Alumni Association

Professor Emeritus Rene Testa has been elected President of CEAA – the Columbia Engineering Alumni Association. All Columbia Engineering graduates, of whom there are roughly 33,000 worldwide, are members of CEAA without dues. CEAA hosts, and co-hosts with the Dean’s office, a number of events for students and alumni throughout the year which provide social and networking opportunities. The Board of Managers of CEAA also oversees the selection and award of the Egleston, Johnson and Pupin Medals at a gala in Low Library preceding Alumni Reunion in the spring of each year, and the Distinguished Faculty Teaching Awards at Class Day.
